Thought and Awareness of Thought.

~~Thought and Awareness of Thought~~

Keep your observation alert, because there
are thoughts which though look very logical,
quite rational, but in fact deny truth, reality,
and the life itself. Thoughts as a rule, corrode
the sensitivity, distort your sensibility, and
influence your consciousness, they condition
you to fit into some specific behavior pattern,
to conform to the groove, that is  society, family,
nationalism, ideals, religion, tradition, discipline,
virtue, and sacrifice. Narrow-down your vision
and obstruct the clear view of truth, the 'fact',
which is otherwise bare before us. Only a mind
that is alert, attentive to the 'fact' and free of
'thought', free of verbal interpretation, or its
justification in any way, understands the nature
of thought, sees how thought modifies our way of
observation, while it is the observation of life
with naked eyes, that should lead one to the right
way of thinking.Thought always aims at achieving
some goal, 'somewhere' in 'future', and the future
is again projected by itself. And, projecting an
imagined 'future', Thought defines and proposes
to achieve that 'future', which is never a reality,
through a particular course of action, which
ignores all causes and reasons that help in
happening of anything. So, thought is always
political. Always divisive. It divides the human
consciousness in 'faiths', concepts, beliefs, '-isms',
nationalities, which are but a sophisticated form
of tribalism. It denies the present, imposes an
imagination over it, and makes one strive for
that imagination, which is a figment of thought
only. It can expand to monstrous proportions,
and makes you believe that you are some great
soul, perhaps an 'avatar',which is in fact a great
illusion only, you have been caught by thought
only.Thought gives rise to faiths, beliefs, dogmas,
In anticipation of some future heaven, release,
'Moksha', redemption, a better next birth after
death. And one doubts, if thought could ever know
the death ! It is deterioration ad infinitum.
It is not Thought, but sheer thoughtlessness.
Then there is another kind of Thought which is
thoughtful, mindful, careful, attentive, polite, but
never political. Because that would be a paradox in
itself. It has no aims to achieve. It has no future. It
lives in the 'now', and is deathless.
If I know, how thought binds me with beliefs,
faiths, fears, anticipations and imaginary hopes,
I will never fall a prey to thought. I will never be
caught into its chains. Then I will see very clearly,
how thought deceives me in the lure of such things,
how incites me to be prepared for the 'Supreme
Sacrifices', and kill my brethren, in the name of cult,
religion, country, race.
If I am thoughtful, mindful about the cunningness
oddities, obstinacy, obtuseness and acuteness of
Thought, I will use it as a  technical instrument,
analytically.
It can not and will not intrude my understanding
of myself as a simple human being.
This is the creative aspect of thought, when it is
a tool in the hands of understanding.
