And, The Two Perspectives

Poetry : Me and Mine.

----------------©-----------------

A Conditioned Mind, Can never know,

What Freedom Is! But can sure watch,

And only then know / understand,

How the Mind can get free,

Of the Conditioning, Imposed by itself,

On itself, Because of in-attention only.

That how, Me and Mine,

Define, Limit, and confine,

The Mind / consciousness itself .

The Mind is the consciousness,

And the consciousness is, -the Mind.

For the two are two aspects only,

Of One,the single and unique fact.

One can't exist without the other.

In this knowing, in and understanding,

There is no division, such as I and mine.

For, as soon as the word I is uttered,

And, as soon as the mine is exclaimed,

Me and Mine the two, are defined so!

The Mind and the consciousness, thus,

Split into two; the Me and the Mine.

And as soon as, this twin is created,

One becomes the center, while,

The other becomes the periphery.

The Mind and the consciousness too,

One becomes the center, while,

The other becomes the periphery.

For, the two are but one and the same.

And the person, the individual is cast,

Into a name, into a notional frame.

Who exists not, though appears only.

In the Mind that is; -the consciousness.

Me and Mine, tethered with one-another,

One can never be free from the other.

This endless conflict persists though,

As long as inattention is there,

One doesn't understand, know,

Freedom from the one is but partial,

Freedom from the other is just so.

Seeking the source of any of the two,

Results in the Freedom from both them.

A conditioned mind can never know,

What Freedom Is, how-so-ever though!!

The Two Freedoms.

Is Freedom Partial?

---------------©----------------

Freedom From The Known...

--

The Freedom to Wish,

The Freedom of Will,

The Freedom of Religion,

The Freedom of Choice,

The Freedom of Tradition,

The Freedom of Expression,

The Freedom of Voice,

Aren't they all,

Tethered to some Ideal,

Even though, that Ideal,

Maybe, - the Freedom Itself!

As long as there is,

The Thought of Freedom,

As long as there is,

The Freedom of Thought,

For the One,

Who is in bondage,

As long as one is there,

Someone Other and different,

From this Whole Existence,

How could possibly be there,

The Freedom Unconditional,

Whole, Spontaneous, Total!!
