The Scientific Consciousness.

The core principle of Sanatana Dharma is --

THE INEVITABLE, INDENIABLE AND IRREFUTABLE  : LAW OF KARMA.

The two words;

Science and Consciousness are cognates of two different root words in Sanskrit.

Both could be seen to bear resemblance with two similar verb-roots धातु  in the Sanskrit.

From the verb-roots root -

शी - शयति - संशयति, sceptic, suspects,  and शेते, meaning asleep and शान्तः,  in peace, collected, calm, potential, 

and another verb-root - 

शक्, शंक्, शंस्  - शक्यते, शक्ति, प्रशंसयति, शंक्यते - in English : capable, of strength, praises, Science, doubts or suspects.

Again Science and Conscious, Sense and consciousness could again be accepted as closely related cognates conveying the near about and similar meaning.

Is therefore and accordingly :

यम / The Law Supreme but next and secondary to Dharma / Karma that governs the functioning of :

प्रकृति or the Nature.

धर्म and यम together are also known and called too as the  यमधर्मौ - अश्विनौ and the analogy between the two pairs is to be seen. The two Equinox -  is cognate of   अश्विनौ -- the Sanskrit word - namely the two "sons" of  The heavenly / Celestial "SUN". The Sun begot these two "sons"  from His spouse / wife named  "संज्ञा".

This is not Mythology but Sattology; -as is there in the :

स्कन्द-पुराण  / skanda purANa - ancient Sanskrit Text dealing with, explaining the beginning of the manifestation of the material aspect of the world.

संज्ञा the Sanskrit word is again made up of a prefix / उपसर्ग "सं" denoting "perfect and appropriate" while the verb-root "ज्ञा" - (वि)जानाति, प्रजानाति  denotes simple "knowing" / "perception" either through the senses of knowledge (ज्ञानेन्द्रिय) or in the form of the intellect or thought and information that could be stored in one's memory.

"संज्ञा" thus is "the consciousnesses" or the "sentience".

"Sun" is in this way, the father of the two Equinox and is also the Material Law that governs the whole material existence.

"Consciousness" - or the "संज्ञा" on the other hand governs the मन / the mind of both the entire and the whole Life as well as the  "वैयक्तिक  मन" / the individual mind also. 

As is declared in the Gita :

भूतानामस्मि चेतना।।

The direct and simple meaning is : 

I AM (THE "SELF")  as consciousness in all the sentient creatures / beings.

"Self" here is the same as Atman or the I AM. Though in the individual, it  assumes the form of "अहङ्कार"  or the "self" / ego.

धर्म, यम, and  कर्म

Are therefore the three Essential Laws that govern the whole  existence at three levels.

धर्म / स्वभाव / प्रकृति

यम / शक्ति

कर्म / कार्य

The three could be synonymous with the spiritual nature, the mental thought and the physical action.

The Law of Karma therefore applies at all the three levels - The Spiritual, The mental world of the individual and the Physical, material level.

We know in Physics it is described in the following way --

Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.

The Three attributes in Physics - General Properties of matter - namely the light, inertia and energy  are but gross aspects of the same attributes in the mental - in the form of characteristics (गुण) and in the spiritual as Existence consciousness and Light / Bliss.

When The Time Takes Place.

A Rudra-Space (रुद्र-लोक) assumes Existence,

As soon as, Rudra wakes up, 

From His samAdhi Timeless,

He manifests Himself in 11 dimensions. 

The 11 is a number, Mathematical.

The 11 dimensions are at once projected,

Into the 11 Strings where-in is limited,

 The Manifest Time-Space. 

 When The Time Takes Place,

11 Times owe simultaneous existence, 

In a moment eternal, beyond the physical.

The 11 strings that the Physics speaks of. 

Though they all are diverse expressions of, 

The Singular Essentiality, -The Rudra,

They all generate a world,  -their own. 

The Duration of Time in all happens, 

As if the other 10 have no existence,

One Rudra alone, always exists,

In one and all of those 11 dimensions. 

Be a Rishi (ऋषि) - A scientist of yore, 

Or a Physicist, - A Rishi (ऋषि) of the day, 

All are and is but Rudra (रुद्र) only.

Thus elucidates the शिव-अथर्वशीर्ष ।

Rudra alone knows all the times,

That take place in the 11 dimensions,

Yet, no individual can ever know,

What might be taking place, 

In the 10 dimensions, other than one's own!

Though one can sure predict the facts, 

The purely physical of one's own world,

No one can but predict precisely, 

Exactly what is going to happen, 

In the Future, that is in one's imagination.

But all and everyone has a criteria,

To examine the essential nature of Time, 

That one comes across in the 3 states, 

Namely, the waking, dream and sleep,

Where Time becomes just volatile!

One can even enter in the states of mind, 

Like those, as are experienced by one, 

During waking, deep sleep, or in dream,

Where Time is molded and folded, 

In a way that reminds us often, always, 

Of the clocks painted by Salvador Dali,

Where Time seems to go through change, 

The warp and weft, twists, distortions.

But in Essence, Substance and Reality,

All is but the Dance of Nataraja, The Rudra.

You can't just ignore and push away,

With  contempt, hatred and disdain,

In your aggressive adamant, audacious,

Stubborn, obstinate and Stupid, 

Ignorance, Pride and Prejudice,

The Upanishads, Veda, the sacred texts,

Declaring them to be useless, -of no value.

But even if once, you go through them, 

With all due humility and trust,

That the Rishi discovered Timelessly,

You can at once relate them all, 

With the latest and most discoveries,

Can sure find out their relevance always, 

In all times that were, are and will ever be.

Don't call them 'Hindu' in contrast with, 

The Religions / faiths , -The Abrahmic,

Though they're no doubt the Lineage, 

The Heritage, and the timeless wisdom,

Of the Hindu History, Culture, Religion.

We Hindu honor and adore this wisdom,

We Hindu call it The Sanatana Dharma,

The Truth, Reality, Brahman, Ishwar, Atman.

"PROBLEMATICS" is the Word. 

with reference to Sanskrit, this English word could be found to have related to :

प्र अव लम्ब,

Because that explains the origin of the word, sense and meaning also.

FRONTIERS OF KNOWLEDGE.

All knowledge could be classified in the four forms, namely :

The Science विज्ञान,

The Art -कला,

The Philosophy -दर्शन,

and,

The Problematics (Questioning, enquiry and exploration) - प्रश्न .

The Science Tries to find out Why and How and a common thread that weaves out the pattern in the manifest world. Science sure discovers a network of findings the rules and regulation (laws) that govern the world and the existence as a whole, but can't ascertain exactly What or Who stipulated / established these rules, regulations!

A simple and direct answer to this question may be given in the word :

"Consciousness".

Whatever is found to appear or happen is within the "Consciousness" only.

"Consciousness", though couldn't be defined, is the primordial principle.

The next is Art, the way in which some-thing is depicted. This "some-thing" again may be either an object, the Reality, or a subject that is the bridge between the object (world) and the Reality.

This bridge that is an interface between the subject and theobject is itself the individual consciousness, and there is such a countless  number of the individual's or the manifest consciousness in each of them. That is the aggregate collectice life itself where every individual given with the 'I-sense' is the sole and whole truth.

Then there is Philosophy that formulates or philosophizes everything in the existence in terms of verbal thought which are supported by a language. A Language in itself is custom and convention and is the outcome of voice or the sounds uttered by man.

The last is this new frontier that I have just now coined and named:

"Problematics".

This is (about) the study of every, any and all the problems that appear before us but we try to segregate them in the compartments of Science, Art, and Philosophy only. 

This word again rhymes with in rhythm with yet another word "Mathematics"/ arithmetic. "rhythmatic" could be easily found to related to the Sanskrit word ऋत् that is synonymous with "truth" - phonetically, and in the sense as well.

That is how I see the idea of "derivation" of a language from any other language (such as Sanskrit, Greek, Latin, etc.) is itself dubious or ambiguous.
