~~Thought and Awareness of Thought~~
_______________________________
*******************************
Keep your observation alert, because there
are thoughts which though look very logical,
quite rational, but in fact deny truth,reality,
and the life itself. Thoughts as a rule, corrode
the sensitivity, distort your sensibility, and
influence your consciousness, they condition
you to fit into some specific behavior pattern,
to conform to the groove, that is society, family,
nationalism, ideals, religion, tradition, discipline,
virtue, and sacrifice. Narrow-down your vision
and obstruct the clear view of truth, the 'fact',
which is otherwise bare before us. Only a mind
that is alert, attentive to the 'fact' and free of
'thought', free of verbal interpretation, or its
justification in any way, understands the nature
of thought, sees how thought modifies our way of
observation, while it is the observation of life
with naked eyes, that should lead one to the right
way of thinking.Thought always aims at achieving
some goal, 'somewhere' in 'future', and the future
is again projected by itself. And, projecting an
imagined 'future', Thought defines and proposes
to achieve that 'future', which is never a reality,
through a particular course of action, which
ignores all causes and reasons that help in
happening of anything. So, thought is always
political. Always divisive. It divides the human
consciousness in 'faiths', concepts, beliefs, '-isms',
nationalities, which are but a sophisticated form
of tribalism. It denies the present, imposes an
imagination over it, and makes one strive for
that imagination, which is a figment of thought
only. It can expand to monstrous proportions,
and makes you believe that you are some great
soul, perhaps an 'avatar',which is in fact a great
illusion only, you have been caught by thought
only.Thought gives rise to faiths, beliefs, dogmas,
In anticipation of some future heaven, release,
'Moksha', redemption, a better next birth after
death. And one doubts, if thought could ever know
the death ! It is deterioration ad infinitum.
It is not Thought, but sheer thoughtlessness.
Then there is another kind of Thought which is
thoughtful, mindful, careful, attentive, polite, but
never political. Because that would be a paradox in
itself.It has no aims to achieve.It has no future. It
lives in the 'now', and is deathless.
If I know, how thought binds me with beliefs,
faiths, fears, anticipations and imaginary hopes,
I will never fall a prey to thought. I will never be
caught into its chains. Then I will see very clearly,
how thought deceives me in the lure of such things,
how incites me to be prepared for the 'Supreme
Sacrifices', and kill my brethren, in the name of cult,
religion, country, race.
If I am thoughtful, mindful about the cunningness
oddities, obstinacy, obtuseness and acuteness of
Thought, I will use it as a technical instrument,
analytically.
It can not and will not intrude my understanding
of myself as a simple human being.
This is the creative aspect of thought, when it is
a tool in the hands of understanding.

The Paradox
*~*~The Paradox.~*~*

Many a slaves,
Many a selves,
In Search of the Their Lord,
Utterly failed,
Bitterly frustrated,
Coined-out,
A Lord,
Out of their own,
Own collective imagination,
And their own 'Free-will'.
This Lord Himself was,
A slave to their whims,
Hardly could they realize,
In their new-found euphoria,
That this Lord was their own creation,
Their own brain-child.
But they bowed before Him,
And He too derived,
A subtle pleasure,
A gratification indeed,
An apparent Existence
Of His own,
Independent of them.
He too was amused,
And bemused,
By the idea,
Of being a Lord of them all.
And it never occurred to Him,
That He was not the Master,
But only a slave,
Of His own slaves !!
They all joined each other,
On a Sacred Journey,
To Find out the 'Truth';
The 'One' Super-Lord,
Of them all.
It was nevertheless,
A fascinating, Captivating journey,
The 'Pilgrimage'.
The cavalcade proceeded,
The journey is never-ending.
The joy of it keeps them busy,
And they are marching past,
Swiftly,
Marching ahead,
On and On.
And The God just laughs at them,
Occasionally cries or wails to,
Over their misfortune.

Observation of the Supreme,
Without observing the observer,
Is mental observation.
Because The Absolute is,
Never apart from the observer.
Real observation is,
When the Absolute is observed,
As the only source of the 'self' ,
And the 'self' is dissolved there-in.
(Incidently, I remember a note;
"When J. Krishnamurti reviewed his
own book, :
"Krishnamurti's Notebook."
-just for fun , where he said about his
most famous quote :
"The observer is the observed"
*An Excerpt :
[The concept I found most difficult to
understand was that of
'the observer is the observed'.
I finally came to an interpretation of
this :
the self looks at all its inner states of
being with its own conditioned mind
and therefore what it sees is a replica
of itself; what we are is what we see.
The conception of a superior self which
can direct one's other selves is an illusion,
for there is only one self. When K said
in other talks;
'The experiencer is the experienced''
and,
'The thinker is the thought',
he was merely using different words to
express the same idea.
-from:
'Life and Death of J.Krishnamurti'
-Mary Lutyens, ch.14,(1967),
-"Ideals are brutal things" ]
______________________________
I sincerely feel that the statement given
by J.Krishnamurtiholds in both the states,
1. When One has transcended the 'Known',
and has come face to face with that ;
"Freedom from the known",
2. When has not yet Transcended that
barrier.

And here lies the evidence from the lips
of Sri Ramana.

Ode to Peacock.
~~~~~Ode to Peacock~~~~~
___________________________
******************************
Peacock !
Your colors !!
Bright fast, dull and light and dark,
Of every hue and shade,
Lie hidden in your wings,
Awaiting the rains and clouds,
with verve and joy,
Trying to reach every corner of the sky !
To meet the Rainbow,
Their own God,
-And the Beloved,
I just wonder,
How you constrain them,
Within you,
During all those dry and arid times,
For so long !
O Peacock !!
Monolith
Seeing the serpent in the body of the Lord,
Ganesha's vehical (mooshaka) said :
O Lord !
I'am afraid at the sight of my enemy.
Please protect me, save me !
The Lord answered :
Don't fear !
When you shall see the one and the same
Brahman (Self) in your and my,
And also in (the body of) the enemy,
Shall then you find the fearlessness,
And also,
The lasting, eternal happiness.
"....... You know,
Not only that, but the also enhance
the beauty
of each other.
For example,
When the vehicle
of
The Lord Ganesha
complains about the
fear of his
enemy
(the serpent) The Lord
instructs him, to
'see'
in Himself (The Lord ), himself
(the Mooshaka), and
the enemy
(the
serpent), the same 'Brahman' i.e.
the
common Intelligence-
Principle, He is
giving him
the Supreme Vedantik
Teaching also.
"सदभिज्ञा" means :
The right Understanding of The Truth.
(
सत् +अभिज्ञा)
The title Monolith has two meanings :
1. A stone image carved-out from a
single stone.
2.The Indivisible (Akhanda) , Which
contains all
and everything
(The 'Sat
-Tattwa').
So it can be interpreted in 2 ways.
In terms of
simple poetic value,
and
as a spiritual metaphor also.
When I see this 'coincidence', I just
feel, this
couldn't happen without
Lord's blessings......"
~~Out of Place~~
~~~~~~~Out of Place~~~~~~~
_____________*_____________
**************************
*
Words have emerged, and float
where before the silence vibrated
Where was empty
now is the place
of our meeting,
radius of the real
where my thoughts
touch your thoughts
is this fragment needful for God?
No, my love, it is not,
as are not needed
the grass between the asphalt,
the bark of dogs at the moon,
the fear of the dark,
the foolish laugh of a madman.

"बेवज़ह" Hi Blank !!
~~~~~~~~Hi Blank !!~~~~~~~~
Hi Blank !!
Are you afraid of death ?
You know,
You had been swallowed already,
Alive,
In that Big Void,
One day !
You know that just as,
A magnet attracts the iron pieces,
The Earth attracts the meteorites,
And just as the Black Hole,
The objects, the planets and the suns.
The Big Void attracts your attention.
But with far more stronger force.
And your eyes get glued.
As if mesmerized.
Captured in It's gaze.
It has always been hungry.
It feeds on your attention.
For It is pure "Attention" only.
And one that has been trapped,
In It's charm,
Can never escape.
Such a one is indeed dead to the world,
Yet infinitely Alive,
Death-less and Birth-less.
In the Life-Eternal.
One with the Beloved For Ever.
One with the Peace Infinite.
Bliss Limitless.
Freedom Infinite.
Raison d'être
~~~~~~~~
Raison d'être.
That Sunday evening,
I behaved in a crazy way,
Because I was crazy.
I was crazy,
Because I was angry.
I was angry,
Because you said ;
You didn't love anybody.
Because you said ;
You never need any emotional support,
From anyone in the world !
And I was such a fool !
So far I had no idea
I felt, you were telling the truth !
I felt, you were telling the truth !
I didn't see, nor know,
At that crazy moment ;
You were telling a lie.
Just because you were afraid.
-Of telling the truth ;
That I was the only exception to this.
Oh yes !
I was crazy, indeed,
Because I was crazy,
Because I was angry,
Just because,..................!
