When Nothing is Forthcoming.
--
When all the roads are blocked,
When you can't go anywhere,
When you can't even sit,
At your home however,
The turbulent times keep,
In their Rhythm, Dance and Song,
With no mercy, pity on you,
Open the panchangam*;
And watch the planets;
The Hour, the Hora,
The Moon and the Sun,
The Dragon's head,
And the Dragon's tail,
That entails a tale,
Waiting to be decoded.
And if you don't understand,
The Language of their movement,
Wait, Wait and just wait.
And in this waiting,
At an unexceptional moment,
Quite Unexpectedly comes,
A relief, respite and peace,
That leaves you wondering,
How everything is just fine,
And for how long a time,
You had been tormented,
By the vagaries of mind.
