Pride and Prejudice

Virtual Doors.

The Latest and the Greatst invention of these times is in the field of Prosthetics.

Prosthetics and Ortho-sthetics

Help the physically impaired people in regaining the temporary or permanent loss of the natural physical abilities like hearing, speaking, walking, holding an object in the palm, fingers or in the hand, seeing through the eyes, feeling the smell and touch.

This includes artificial limbs such as the splints, braces, calipers, crutches, even the hearing aids and the optical glasses.

The two Branches of Medical Science

However there is yet more important one is that could be called the

"Neura-link".

This is kind of a neurological operation in the brain that helps in bridging the neural gap that has occurred because of some physical defect or an accident.

Presently research is going on in this field and experts fear that this may help the  politically oriented dictators of our times to make the human beings into a slave or a virtual robot. This fear is not baseless, because on one hand that such a Neura-link may perhaps help restoring the temporary or permanent loss of the thinking ability of the brain, on the other hand this may force artificial thinking in the brain. This is not only a speculative conjecture but may also be a possibility in the future.

Maybe, such a brain-implant is already being done at an experimental level.

But what attracted my attention is this spiritual impairment that happened as a natural consequence during and with the evolution of the faculty of "thinking" in the human brain. This happened as and when the human invented a "language" that was "figurative". This means every object perceived in the consciousness was given a spoken word and joining those words was invented a sentence expressing an abstract sense like that of a feeling, emotion or a sentiment. In this way very many spoken languages were invented at different places on the earth. All those were eventually depending on "thought" and though thought conveyed a meaning with different varied senses. Thought therefore served as in a kind of a prosthetic. These words' etymology points out, there is reason and evidence to think that Sanskrit is not only the mother of all languages, but also the mother of all verbal knowledge too. Let me show -

The Greek borrowed the Sanskrit words and the knowledge and modified them in their own language.

For example the following words -

Aesthetic, Anesthetics, Prosthetic,

May have been rooted in -

अवस्थैतिक, अन्-स्थैतिक, प्र-स्थैतिक,

(Needs to be studied furthermore.)

Back to Neuro-link / Neuralink.

Basically what we call Faith, Belief and Prejudice is neither an experience nor have any scientific evidence or proof. All they depend on a formal verbal concept. In the same way, Thought is a

"First Crutch"  that becomes the

"First Crush" in the perception.

Only after the emergence of a verbal thought it is registered in the form of a verbal memory in the brain.

There are two such memories -

One - The sense of being  / existing,

Two - The sense of knowing,

The two are but the one and the same Reality, though thought intervenes and apparently the knowing aspect is split into the observer and the observed. The observer is again translated into the one who observes. This "observer" is again named "I", or the individual. Exactly and truly, though there is no entity that may  exist like the so-called "observer". All the observed is certainly and undeniably the objective Reality, such an "observer" is always so much unfounded, doubtful and ambiguous.

Examining this in the context of and as a spiritual quest, we can conclude that the apparent division of the "observer" and the "observer" is the fundamental basic prejudice that clouds the perception in the consciousness.

Though the brain becomes a victim to this prejudice, unfortunately there is no way to overcome this hurdle.

Leaving this post as it is, - unfinished and unedited.
